Girls Inc. gave me the confidence to say what I need to say and as result of participating in this program I felt empowered to become a mentor to middle schoolers at my school. Being a mentor has been one of the most rewarding experiences from my junior year. Through advice given to me from my Girls Inc. facilitators and peers during group I grew to be kind to myself and because of the love I gained for myself.
