Programs
Through group facilitated programs, girls find a sisterhood of support and learn to value their whole selves, discover their inherent strengths, and gain tools to embrace new opportunities. Our programs provide a combination of research-informed activities, long-lasting mentoring relationships, and a safe pro-girl environment. We equip girls to lead fulfilling and productive lives, break gender barriers, and become powerful girls in an equitable society.
At Girls Inc. of Greater Houston, our mission is to empower girls to be STRONG, SMART, and BOLD.
In partnership with schools and community partners, we provide high-quality in-school and out-of-school time programming for girls ages 6–18.
Our programs touch the lives of over 3000 girls annually, guiding them through three transformative curriculum areas:
Strong (Healthy Living) | Smart (Academic Enrichment) | Bold (Life Skill Development)
Provides girls grades 1st-3rd with three hours of guided, interactive reading instruction
